Elite Dance Center or Emily's Dream Company? Our studio could go by either but team Elite is officially entering its second year under the incredible ownership and direction of Emily Hulburt. Emily purchased EDC back in 2021 and hasn't looked back since.
EDC strives to be Elite in all aspects and it is our mission to uphold our values and vision every day, every class, and with every move. As a dancer, walking through our doors means you are walking into a curated space of safety, positivity, and the feeling of coming home. While we live to dance, our vision for EDC extends beyond into making sure we are creating kind humans. The world of dance is so vast and so small all at once, we truly believe that kindness will ALWAYS win. Part of our mission at EDC as staff is to constantly pave paths for our students leading with kindness.
Speaking of staff… our mission is to only offer the Elite quality of training our students deserve. Our staff is comprised of teachers who bring a combination of collegiate level education in dance and performance, were professional dance company members, and have professional competition teacher experience. We train and choreograph in all genres: Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theater and Tap. We also dedicate large amounts of class time specifically to technique, strengthening and stretch, cardio conditioning, and audition prep to help prepare for industry and convention experience. In addition to our Elite staff, we believe exposure to as many choreographers and teachers is critical to developing well rounded dancers. Throughout each season we invite guest teachers currently working in the industry to come share their expertise and challenge our dancers with new perspective. While we are a competition studio we are firm believers that the convention world is one of the biggest gifts we can give to our students and attend 2-4 each season.

Elite Dance Center is dedicated to creating an inviting and comfortable environment for dancers to grow and develop his or her own passion for dance. We strive to guide every dancer in meeting his or her full potential with high quality, well-rounded training in a positive learning atmosphere. Elite Dance Center’s goal is to have every EDC dancer leave class motivated and energized to continue his or her training.
